Val (ヴァル Vuaru), is Eiha's companion and rides about on. He has a limited intellect as pointed out by Chenfa when she show up and came into eye contact with him. Val and Eiha are sacrificed but later Eiha will be reborn as part of the promise between the Red Dragon and Ibuki, which is to give Eiha all of Val's remaining life. The Red Dragon said that they would be reborn as one soul thus will lose all their memories of when they were still two different souls.
